ATENU SCHOOL AMBASSADORS

By applying to or participating in the Atenu School Ambassador Program (“Program”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not apply or participate.


1) Program Purpose

The Program empowers selected high‑school students to represent Atenu within their schools, promote access to exam‑prep resources, support peer learning, and provide feedback that improves Atenu’s services.

2) Eligibility

  • Current high‑school student in Ethiopia (Grades 9–12).
  • Good academic and disciplinary standing with a positive reputation.
  • Reliable access to a mobile device and internet (Telegram/Facebook).
  • Atenu may request proof of enrolment and identity for verification.

3) Selection & Onboarding

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Atenu may accept, waitlist, or reject applicants at its sole discretion. Selected ambassadors may be required to attend an orientation and comply with ongoing guidance and timelines.

4) Ambassador Responsibilities

4.1 Core Duties

  • Represent Atenu and its values within your school community.
  • Share Atenu resources, events, and updates through approved channels.
  • Recruit new students and log referrals accurately using the official form.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and Program activities as requested.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help improve Atenu’s offerings.

4.2 Prohibited Actions

  • Misrepresenting Atenu’s mission, services, or affiliations.
  • Providing false, misleading, or unverifiable referral information.
  • Harassment, discrimination, or any conduct that harms others or Atenu’s reputation.
  • Unauthorized use of Atenu branding, accounts, discounts, or data.

5) Code of Conduct

  • Act with integrity, respect, and professionalism at all times.
  • Follow your school’s rules and local laws during any Program activity.
  • Do not pressure or coerce students to participate in Atenu programs.
  • Escalate safety or misconduct concerns to Atenu promptly.

6) Rewards, Recognition & Expenses

  • Ambassadors may receive certificates, shout‑outs, digital badges, or performance‑based prizes.
  • Reward criteria may include referrals, activity quality, and community impact.
  • Rewards are discretionary; Atenu may modify or cancel them at any time.
  • The Program is voluntary and non‑employment; no salary or benefits are provided.
  • Unless expressly approved in writing, Atenu does not reimburse personal expenses.

7) Content, Branding & Intellectual Property

  • Use Atenu names, logos, and assets only as provided in official materials.
  • Any content you create for the Program may be used by Atenu for marketing and reporting, with credit where feasible.
  • Do not alter Atenu branding or imply unauthorized partnerships.

8) Data & Privacy

Personal data (e.g., name, contact info, school, referral logs) is collected for Program administration, verification, and recognition.

  • Data will be stored securely and accessed by authorized staff only.
  • Atenu does not sell personal data to third parties.
  • By participating, you grant Atenu permission to display your name, school, and photo for Program announcements and recognition.

9) Duration, Suspension & Termination

  • Appointments generally run for one school year unless otherwise stated.
  • Atenu may suspend or terminate participation at any time for policy violations, misconduct, or inactivity.
  • You may withdraw at any time by notifying Atenu in writing.
  • Upon termination or withdrawal, cease representing Atenu and return or delete non‑public materials.

10) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • The Program is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • Atenu is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Program participation.
  • Nothing herein creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship.

11) Amendments

Atenu may update these Terms or Program features at any time. Material changes will be communicated via reasonable channels (Telegram, email, website). Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.

12) Governing Law & Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ethiopia, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.
