Anki Flashcards for Ethiopian Students

Use spaced repetition to study smarter, retain more, and boost your ESSLCE scores — free Anki decks for every QuickNotes unit on Atenu.org

🧠 What Is Spaced Repetition?

Spaced Repetition is a science-backed study technique that shows you information just before you’re about to forget it. Instead of cramming, you review Anki flashcards at intervals that grow longer each time you answer correctly — training your brain to store information in long-term memory.

Research in cognitive science shows this method is especially effective for learning definitions, vocabulary, formulas, scientific facts, historical dates, and key events. It’s the most efficient way for Ethiopian students to prepare for the ESSLCE and other exams.

📘 What Is Anki?

Anki is a free flashcard app that uses the spaced repetition system. It’s available on Android, desktop (Windows, Mac, Linux), and iOS. Atenu provides downloadable Anki decks for every QuickNotes unit so you can study offline at your own pace — perfect for students in low-connectivity areas.

Once you download a deck and import it into Anki, the app automatically schedules your reviews. You won’t waste time studying what you already know — and you’ll retain what you learn far more effectively.
